The Latvian Cricket Federation (LCF) is proud to continue its commitment to developing young cricket talent across the country. Our Youth Development Program for players under 19 years of age provides structured coaching, fun activities, and a safe environment to learn and grow in the sport of cricket.

Winter Season 2025: Indoor Cricket Training

During the winter months of 2025, LCF will be conducting indoor cricket sessions across Latvia. These sessions are specially designed for beginners and young players, allowing them to practice fundamental cricket skills using approved cricket-friendly balls for players aged under 19, ensuring safety, confidence, and enjoyment during play.

Indoor Training Highlights:

• Soft ball cricket drills

• Bowling, batting, and fielding techniques

• Team-building games

• Fitness and coordination exercises

This indoor phase helps players stay active and continue improving their game even during the cold season.

Youth Cricket Event – October 10, 2025

LCF successfully hosted a youth cricket event on October 10, 2025, with over 200 participants under the age of 19 from Olaine school number 2 in Latvia. This enthusiastic turnout marks a promising milestone for the growth of cricket in Latvia and highlights the community’s growing interest in the sport.
